ProfSoft recognizes that the value our customers derive from investments in our products and services depend on many factors. How the software is implemented is one of the most important factors that influence each client’s level of success with our products. Our implementation methodology addresses several different areas and constituencies, trying to bring together requirements from different functional areas in each client.
Our implementation process begins with a business assessment. Even while the business assessment is ongoing, our technical staff will work with your technical staff to identify available data and develop a data extract plan.
The single greatest obstacle in a decision support implementation is getting your data into the system. Two factors can delay completion of that task; "dirty" data and difficulty meeting the vendor's data requirements. We have no magic remedy for dirty data (though we will help you discover the problems) but we can help with meeting our data requirements. Unlike many other products, we have built our software to fit our client's data with flexible data requirements. Thus, there is far less data mapping, and a faster, more effective, process.
Once the planning aspect of the project is complete, we turn to operationalization. Once the data are brought into the ProfSoft environment, our business experts and technical staff collaborate with your staff to configure the software properly. With the software operational, we turn our attention to testing. The entire implementation process takes from 8 weeks to 6 months, depending on how quickly the customer can provide the data. When the software has been fully tested and the results of the data quality checks have been reviewed and accepted by the client, we schedule training for end users. ProfSoft training does not end with these sessions. We provide free webinars to our customers to help them learn about specific topics. In addition, we provide off-site training to help new employees learn our software or to provide a refresher for existing staff.
