Business Development Manager
ProfSoft seeks a talented Business Development Manager to lead, develop and grow a small team of sales professionals. In this critical role you will be an individual contributor and take charge of sales and account management in the Northeast. The need for our clinical data analysis tools is clear – we need YOU to further develop and manage our pipeline.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop aggressive plans for promoting products and achieving sales goals to healthcare organizations.
  • Develop, manage, mentor, and motivate professional sales staff.
  • Manage renewal revenue stream and the sale of additional services.
  • Responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospect identification through to the close.
  • Work closely with the Executive team to strategize and create a vision for this newly created position.
  • Prepare budgets and manage expenses for your department.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 6 years successful sales experience in healthcare information systems, medical claims, or related area.
  • Experience selling into enterprise accounts with long sales cycles.
  • Able to develop a business case in a complex sales environment.
  • High degree of initiative and personal accountability.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Travel primarily in the North East.
