ProfSoft, Inc. is looking for a sharp Business Data Analyst with healthcare claims data experience. You will work closely with our clients, mapping their data to our software, configuring the software to meet their business objectives, and helping them use our software to analyze their data and answer business questions.

Responsibilities Include:
You will play a key role in converting healthcare claims data into information useful for business analysis for new implementations and in support of existing clients. Our clients’ success depends on the quality of your work
- Review clients’ business goals and healthcare claims data.
- Translate their business needs into technical data requirements.
- Map clients’ claims data to our software, and document the logic for implementation.
- Resolve data issues and respond to questions from internal and external sources.
- Test results and perform additional data analysis as needed.
- Contribute to the development of training materials to help clients derive the most value from our software.
- Prepare other documentation and reports.
- Develop expertise in our software products.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in health information management or related field .
- Healthcare medical claims data analysis experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional, first-rate customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with relational databases (designing, building, reporting).
- Proficiency with office software.
- Some travel required – typically 2-3 short trips per month.
